Jesse Garcia is an independent artist from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Music has held her heart for as long as she can remember. At the age of 12, she learned to play the guitar and she began songwriting at age 15. During her senior year of high school, Jesse began performing at open mics in Chicago. Soon after, she challenged herself to create her own EP, “Nota A Si Mismo”.
Influenced by her chicana identity, Jesse has combined Latin ballads, reggaeton, and R&B with original lyrics to create her own unique style of Latin R&B music. Jesse performed in ‘Mexico en el Corazon’ at Millenium Park - an event gathering thousands of people each year. She was also named the winner of the BMI Latin Songwriter Scholarship in 2016.
“Nota A Si Mismo”, Jesse’s homemade EP, was released in 2017 on Soundcloud. Presently, Jesse is celebrating the release of "CENIT," an EP of seven songs, with already more than 4,000 streams.
