Links Hall
About Links Hall
Links Hall encourages artistic innovation and public engagement by maintaining a facility and providing flexible programming for the research, development and presentation of new work in the performing arts. Proud to be a home for independent artists across all performance disciplines and at all stages of their careers, Links provides residencies, commissions, co-presentations, performance series, artist-curated festivals, and subsidized rentals for self-producing artists. Founded in 1978 by choreographers Bob Eisen, Carol Bobrow and Charlie Vernon, Links became a National Performance Network partner in 1998 and received a MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions in 2016. Links joined Constellation and musician/presenter Mike Reed in 2013 to create a new collaborative arts venue in Roscoe Village. Over 50% of Links artists identify as Black, Indigenous, or artists of color.
